I (and others) have encountered this "infinite hanging on restore loading" bug with bugzilla.mozilla.org. To reproduce, with Epiphany (50.4 and TP) running WebKitGTK 2.52.5: 1. Open a tab on https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315135 (or anything here). Optionally, pin it. 2. Open a tab on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2056048. Optionally, pin it (so that it is not necessarily the last tab of the list in the browser). 3. Focus another tab (ex: the tab from step 1) 4. Close Epiphany (Ctrl+Q) 5. Launch Epiphany 6. Click the 1st tab: WebKit Bugzilla loads fine 7. Click the 2nd tab (Mozilla Bugzilla): it never finishes loading (progressbar hangs, and tab's spinner spins endlessly), even though the page itself is loaded It happens even with all the {ad blocker, popup blocker, cookie thingy blocker} disabled. Created attachment 480711 [details] gdb thread apply all bt Using the non-flatpak version of Epiphany, this file is the result of an attempt to get information from gdb when launching Epiphany like this: WEBKIT_DISABLE_SANDBOX_THIS_IS_DANGEROUS=1 \ WEBKIT_ENABLE_DEBUG_PERMISSIONS_IN_SANDBOX=1 \ epiphany …and attaching "gdb -p" to its process, doing "continue", hitting the endless loading condition, Ctrl+C, then running "thread apply all bt". I don't know if that's the way to do it in this particular situation.

I asked for the `gdb -p` because I didn't read properly. The problem here is the load continues forever, not a hang. And it happens when restoring from session state, so there's a high chance this is a duplicate of bug #274727. But I don't know for sure. (I actually proposed a pull request for that one, but it's broken.)

Another observation is that while this is happening, clicking Epiphany's Stop ("×") button or pressing `Esc` does nothing.
