I'm having trouble parsing the linked bugs and if this is fixed or the fix was to disable requestIdleCallback, any chance this can be re-landed anytime soon?

Unfortunately, this feature is in a bit of limbo given we observed a page load time regression on google.com.

Hi, Webkit seems the last piece of the puzzle for all major browsers support. I was working on adding Prefetch work during Idle Browser periods in Compose Multiplatform Web framework by Jetbrains. See https://github.com/JetBrains/compose-multiplatform-core/pull/2928
