Not only on my 40" 4k-monitor I dont want to count the pixel on the upper half of the PDF DIN A4 page, I want to see the whole page - automatically as default. This is the reason why I have a big monitor! And portrait mode is not the way I have my monitor standing on my desk. And I do not want to change my monitor stand to match Safaris way of displaying PDFs. And because I use Safari for my daily work I am surely not willing to spend half an hour a day to change the display mode to full page, because I am using many PDFs a day. This is the reason I chose P2 instead of P1. I can not understand why this behaviour can be in Safari after 10.7.5 the last 6 years. It was the reason I made no update until now. two marked options at the same time for PDF display size in Safari
Even the display mode (single page, single page continous, two pages, two pages continous) remembers not what the user wants to have. It always falls back to single page continously. And the display size against conventions (HTML and other) shows two marked options at the same time, see picture. Error 41828658 on rdar does not exist. After waiting 5 years it would be nice when someone could fix this. I do not need a GUI, a developer setting would do it. ;-) I am waiting here now over 6 years. And no natural intelligence has given any attention to this. Its a shame! Seems nobody is doing here something. |
