Created attachment 284308 [details] testcase This is another case for bug 156839: I think we should follow Gecko here and reset font-style on the <math> tag. Jacques Distler reported the following issue on the instiki Sandbox: "In Theorem 2, the absolute-value signs are slanted. I assume this is because the <math> has inherited the italics style of the surrounding text. But this looks wrong.". Actually the whole text is slanted but most noticeable with the absolute value signs. See the attachment.
