See steps. Steps to reproduce: 1) Go to http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/example.php?example=true 2) Delete all text in sample textarea field 3) With the caret at the top of textarea field, press return key. I: Delete everything in the editable area, hit return, type a few words, and hit return. The caret appears just as it should on the third line.
