This behavior has been present in every build that I've used (r39945-r40777) (2009-01-15 to present). If I control-click the image and "Save Image to 'Downloads'" then the file is saved correctly as filename.jpg and not filename.jpg.jpeg. This behavior persists even if a local .jpg file is opened in the browser and then dragged out to the desktop. Is this a bug, or can someone give me some insight to this behavior?
