    <thetext>after I have compile webkit with GTK+ on gentoo 2007.0 Linux platform, it just simply can not support any chinese simplified website, it even do not support any chinese website even encoded in UTF-8 character set, but on same platform firefox and Epiphany browser can, so I think that is not because of font.
